Upward channel

TURBOS

Turbos specially designed for the surface finishing of metal parts in steel, stainless steel, zamak, brass, aluminium, rubber; machining is by centrifugation, guaranteeing good quality and processing speed.

In particular, it is used for deburring, smoothing, polishing and matting of small parts.

Description:

  • Electro-welded steel structure.
  • Tank with thick internal polyurethane coating, anti-abrasive, anti-oil and with vertical anti-sticking stripes.
  • Sphere tap for water discharge.
  • Specially sized gear motor controlled by an inverter. Rotation speed is adjusted to get suitable finishes for the different types of parts.
  • Fast and simple maintenance.
  • Collector for washing and rinsing the finished product.
  • Inverter for the continuous variation of the machine’s rotation speed: this allows for fine adjustment of the machine’s rotation speed, so the material can be processed more precisely.
  • Optional liquid compound dosing pump.

Principle:

The action of the rotating plate, located at the bottom of the tank, transmits a movement to the chips which are distributed according to a spiral surface.

The incisive action of the chips on the parts speeds up machining times, drastically reducing them compared to a traditional vibrator.

Special constructive solutions:

  • Practical and fast maintenance.
  • Easy adjustment of the distance between the tank and the rotating disc to recover the play due to the abrasion of the moving parts.
  • Interposition between the tank and the rotating plate of a wear ring that is connected to the working tank. In this mode, if necessary, only the ring can be replaced, not the whole tank, leading to a considerable saving.

Dry vibration installations

For the dry vibration process, a new installation is not always necessary. It is sufficient to attach a cover and a vacuum cleaner specially designed to collect the dust generated during the process to the existing vibrator.

We can use this installation to obtain an efficient finish, deburring and polishing of any material, metallic or non-metallic, and in particular, all those metals that are easily oxidized by water, such as zinc alloys, steel, iron, as well as aluminium and brass.

We use Dry Vibration to get:

  • completely dry parts; steel parts do not need to be passivated for storage.
  • Total elimination of mud.
  • The dust produced during the dry vibration process is 10 times less than the mud generated in the wet vibration process.
  • Polishing costs are reduced from 30% to 150%, depending on the type of part treated.
  • Significant reduction in abrasives consumed, compared to the consumption required for wet vibration.
